  • Do I have to be a experienced lifter to join the team?
    No, we welcome lifters even if they have never been in the gym.
  • Do I have to do the team workout?
    The answer is no, but we highly recommend following the team workout or personalized programming offered from our coach Kyle. The program is specifically built to increase 1 rep max, which is the main priority in this club.
  • Where should I lift at?

  • Do I have to compete?
    No, but we highly recommend competing as it is a great experience. Although you may be nervous to compete, a lot of the OUPL members help run and compete in local meets held at Brewhouse barbell to support members, so there should be no reason to feel intimidated at all!
